My name is Nate and my wife is Ashley. We have two wonderful boys, and our original goal was to start a business to provide my wife the ability to stay home with our children and experience them growing up so quickly.
You might ask, “Why DiabeticLiving.Solutions”? Both my wife and I have been working in the medical field for quite some time. Ashley worked in the clinical setting, and I work with practice’s helping them improve their patient engagement. In both of our lines of work, we encounter a large percentage of patients that have diabetes and how that impacts their health and medical decisions.
Ashley was lucky enough to work with an amazing Doctor that had a personal passion for the diabetic field. Through his passion, he enabled his team to get advanced training in diabetic education. I noticed an immediate interest of the topic each time she went to further training. At the beginning, I was like any husband and listened, but didn’t understand how much of a life-changing disease this was. She has taught me so much about the industry and the resources out there to help.
As with all goals, they must change and adapt to align purpose with your mission. I have been lucky enough to meet some very inspiring people that are managing the challenges they are faced with and helping others do the same. Our goal is to provide resources, in many different forms, to let those people reach more and discover new ways to help others. We have decided that a portion of our profits will go back directly to this industry to help you take on this journey.
